Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout Clone Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. Flaked Oats
  • 12 oz. Roasted Barley
  • Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale or White Labs WLP041 Pacific Ale Yeast

Malts:

  • 9 lbs Pale Malt
  • 6 oz. Crystal 40
  • 6 oz. Crystal 80
  • 6 oz. Munich
  • 4 oz. Chocolate Malt

Hops:

  • 1/4 oz. Columbus 15%a, 60 minutes
  • 1/4 oz. Northern Brewer 9%a, 10 minutes

Directions:

  • Mash all grains for 1 hour at 152 degrees.
  • Sparge at 170 degrees.
  • One hour boil with hop regimen above.
  • Ferment at 63-68 degrees.
  • Rack to keg or secondary age for 4 weeks.
