Effypop is a service of Better The World, LLC. The following Refund and Service Delivery Policy applies to services purchased through this website. Better The World, LLC and its brands deliver professional digital services. We do not ship physical goods. All services are delivered online or, for local clients, in person or via on-site visit in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.
This Policy applies to all brands and services operated by Better The World, LLC, including:
No physical products are shipped by Better The World, LLC or any of its brands. All deliverables are provided digitally, including: website files, design assets, course materials, marketing content, form builds, automation setups, policy documents, and reports.
For clients who engage Off and On℠ for on-site computer repair or networking services, any physical parts or hardware required are not included in our service fee and will be quoted separately. We do not resell or ship hardware.
We accept all major US credit and debit cards. Invoicing is available for qualified clients on project-based services.
Subscription services are prepaid for each service period (monthly or annually). Your subscription begins on the date of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Subscription services include: - Pro-How AI Club℠ membership - Meteor Forms℠ plans - HostKit℠ hosting plans - Firebolt℠ hosting plans - Effypop℠ Featured Listing and Micro-Site Profile plans - Effypop Collective℠ membership - Business AI Policy Builder Annual Review service - Any recurring marketing or maintenance retainers
Project-based work (web design, branding, custom development, AI policy documents, etc.) is billed per the terms stated in the written estimate or service agreement. Deposits may be required before work begins.
Hourly services (support, maintenance, consulting, on-site repair) are billed in 15-minute increments at the current rate for the applicable brand.
Refunds for contracted project services (such as web design, branding, custom development, or automation projects) are governed exclusively by the terms stated in the written service agreement or contract for that project. Please review your agreement carefully before signing.
In the absence of a specific written agreement provision, the following general policy applies:
If you cancel during the first month of service: No refund will be given.
If you cancel during any subsequent month: - Cancellation during the first 14 days of the monthly service period: a 50% refund of the amount paid for that month will be issued - Cancellation after the first 14 days: no refund will be given for that service period
Upon cancellation, your service remains active through the end of the paid period, after which access will be terminated.
If you cancel during the first month of service: No refund will be given.
If you cancel after the first month: - Cancellation during the first 14 days of any subsequent annual renewal period: a 75% refund of the amount paid for that year will be issued - Cancellation during the first half of the annual period (days 15–182): a 50% refund of the amount paid for that year will be issued - Cancellation during the second half of the annual period (day 183 onward): no refund will be given
No refunds are issued for digital products once access has been granted. This includes the AI Hero Mini Challenge, any standalone courses, or downloadable digital materials.
If you believe you did not receive access to a purchased course or product, please contact us and we will resolve the issue promptly.
All hourly services (including support requests, video work sessions, consulting, and on-site visits) are non-refundable once the scheduled time block has been delivered or the session has occurred, whether or not the issue was fully resolved within that time.
If a scheduled session is cancelled by Better The World, LLC, a full refund or credit will be issued.
If Better The World, LLC terminates your service due to system abuse, inappropriate usage, violation of these Terms, or non-payment, no refund will be given regardless of the remaining service period.
Per the terms displayed at meteorforms.com: You may cancel at any time. There are no cancellation fees and no refunds. The FAQ language at meteorforms.com reflects this as the stated policy for that brand.
Effypop℠ services have the following specific refund rules:
Featured Listings (monthly or annual subscription) - Monthly Featured Listing subscriptions follow the standard subscription refund policy in Sections 4.2 and 4.3. - Annual Featured Listing subscriptions follow the standard annual refund policy in Section 4.3.
Micro-Site Profiles (monthly or annual subscription + $149 setup fee) - The $149 Micro-Site setup fee is non-refundable once the page build has begun. If you cancel before we have started the build, a full refund of the setup fee will be issued. - The ongoing subscription (monthly or annual) follows the standard refund policy in Sections 4.2 and 4.3. - Upon cancellation, the public Micro-Site page will be taken offline at the end of the paid period.
Effypop Collective℠ Membership (monthly or annual) - Monthly Collective memberships follow the standard subscription refund policy in Section 4.2. - Annual Collective memberships follow the standard annual refund policy in Section 4.3. - Upon cancellation, your "People to Hire" directory listing (if active) will be removed from public view at the end of the paid period.
Event Promotion (per-event, one-time) - Event Promotion listings are non-refundable once the listing has been published on Effypop℠. - If you request cancellation before the listing goes live, a full refund will be issued.
Standard Listings - Standard listings are editorially selected and provided at no charge. There is nothing to refund.
Firebolt℠ hosting services have the following specific rules:
Hosting subscriptions (monthly or annual) - Monthly Firebolt plans (Lite, Standard, Pro) follow the standard subscription refund policy in Section 4.2. - Annual Firebolt plans follow the standard annual refund policy in Section 4.3.
Content editing labor - Content editing work ($85/hour, billed in 15-minute increments) is non-refundable once the work has been delivered and the static site has been deployed. If you dispute the quality of content editing work, contact us within 5 business days of delivery and we will review the issue in good faith.
Extra static deploys - Per-deploy charges ($15 per additional deploy) are non-refundable once the deploy has been executed.
WordPress access add-on - The WordPress Editor access add-on ($10/month per user) follows the standard monthly subscription refund policy in Section 4.2 and is cancelled along with or independently from the base hosting plan.
Upon cancellation of a Firebolt plan - At the end of the paid period, Firebolt will take the client's static site offline and terminate WordPress backend access. - Clients are responsible for requesting a backup or export of their content before cancellation takes effect. Firebolt will provide a reasonable opportunity to retrieve content upon written request.
The Business AI Policy Builder is a discovery-based custom document service delivered in tiers, plus an optional Annual Review. Its refund rules are as follows:
Policy engagements (Tiers 1, 2, and 3) - Each engagement is a custom project that begins with an intake and discovery process. A deposit or full prepayment may be required before work begins. - Before discovery and drafting begin, you may cancel for a full refund. - Once the intake and discovery process or drafting has begun, fees are non-refundable, because the work is custom and built specifically around your business. - If your finished policy does not accurately reflect your business based on your intake responses, we will revise it. No argument. This revision commitment is part of the service and is separate from any refund.
Annual Review service - The Annual Review is a recurring service billed yearly. It follows the standard annual subscription refund policy in Section 4.3. - Once a scheduled review has been performed and the updated policy or review summary has been delivered, the fee for that review is non-refundable.
Attorney review - The Business AI Policy Builder does not include legal advice or attorney review. Any attorney review you choose to obtain is arranged and paid for separately by you and is outside the scope of this Policy. See our AI Policy for the full service disclaimer.
To cancel a subscription, contact us via the applicable brand's contact page or email before your next renewal date. We will confirm cancellation in writing. Please allow up to 2 business days for cancellation processing.
Upon cancellation: - Your service remains active through the end of the paid billing period - After the period ends, access to the service will be terminated - No further charges will be made
We reserve the right to terminate service immediately (without refund) for: - Non-payment - Abusive behavior toward staff or contractors - Violation of our Terms and Conditions - Use of our services for illegal or harmful purposes - Technical or billing problems that cannot be resolved
Service timelines vary by project type. Estimated timelines, where provided, are good-faith estimates and not guarantees. Delays caused by client-side factors (including delayed approval, withheld materials, or lack of responsiveness) may affect delivery timelines without liability to Better The World, LLC.
For project-based services, clients are responsible for: - Providing necessary materials, access, and approvals in a timely manner - Reviewing and providing feedback within agreed timelines - Ensuring that content, branding, and other client-supplied materials do not infringe on third-party rights
The number and scope of revisions included with any service are as stated in the applicable service agreement, proposal, or pricing page. Revisions beyond what is included are billed at the applicable hourly rate.

We will respond within 5 business days and work in good-faith to resolve the issue. Refund requests that qualify under this Policy will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the dispute resolution procedures in our Terms and Conditions, including binding arbitration in Horry County, South Carolina.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States. For international clients, South Carolina law governs unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement.
